Horizon Elementary Fourth Graders Put Creativity to the Test at Invention Convention

Fourth graders at Horizon Elementary School put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work during the school’s Invention Convention.

Students designed and created their own inventions before putting them on display throughout the Horizon gym. Each student set up a booth to showcase their project and explain the idea behind their invention.

Throughout the school day, students from other grade levels visited the Invention Convention, stopping at booths to see the projects and learn from the fourth-grade inventors.

Later, fourth-grade families were invited to visit the gym and see the inventions for themselves.

The Invention Convention gave students a hands-on opportunity to think creatively, solve problems and practice presenting their ideas while sharing their hard work with the Horizon Elementary community.
