Down Syndrome Presentation in 4th Grade
Posted on February 1, 2017Mrs. Beachy, one of our Horizon Parents, came today for a 30 min presentation about Down Syndrome.
Her topics included:
– Science behind "DS" (key terms: chromosomes, genes, cells, nucleus)
– similarities/differences with a child with DS
– DS awareness and respecting diversity in the classroom
– video presentation about children with DS (they are just like you)
