Congratulations to Horizon's State Science Fair winner

Congratulations to Horizon's State Science Fair winner. Horizon fifth grade student Grace was a second place winner in the fifth grade entries, where she received a certificate for her use of statistics (award given by the American Statistical Association). She was a third place overall winner in the junior division (grades 4 - 8) for her use of statistics and she received a participation medal. Horizon is very proud of Grace's achievements.

Kindergarten registration opens on January 21

Registration for kindergarten for the 2014-2015 school year began Tuesday, January 21. A parent or guardian can register a child at the elementary school he or she will attend and all elementary schools offer full-day kindergarten. Elementary school offices at Bittersweet, Elm Road, Horizon, Madison, Mary Frank, Meadow’s Edge, Northpoint, Prairie Vista and Walt Disney are open between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and at Moran and Elsie Rogers the offices are open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Horizon rated an A by Indiana Department of Education

Horizon has been rated an A school by the Indiana Department of Education. This grade reflects Horizon's most recent academic performance and is calculated based on data collected throughout each school year. The grade takes into account a variety of factors including student performance and student growth. Kids Club

Kids Club is a childcare program designed to provide children of working parents with childcare in a safe, home-like atmosphere. The program provides care for children in kindergarten through grade five. Kids Club members are able to choose from a variety of recreational, social and enrichment activities each day.
